from 113 reviewsThe high quality cannot be expressed enough! There is one section of wide and long but short stairs heading downhill outside that are so dark at night. Attempts to prevent falls with inexpensive grass lights, post lights, and a motion-detector flood light just don't cut it. Unlike the photo in the listing, I just used one light per stair, and that worked for me. There are actually 5 stairs, but I tested it with just the two lights I got on two of the five, and I'm sold! It looks so good! I'll be getting more to complete the job. The solar panels are obviously high quality and ample in size to get a nice charge throughout the day. It stays bright all night with no problem at all. The lights are about as flush with the stair as you can get and are not visibly in the way during the day. No assembly required, and the silicone glue needed for installation is included (and of course, you can use your own if you prefer). Installation is a BREEZE. Highly recommended if you don't mind the price tag. I'm not sure it gets any better than these!!It's a 5-star product, for sure, but the price stings a little if you're looking for something inexpensive. For just two lights, it's almost $50 at the time of this review. If you want it to look like the listing picture, you need FIVE LIGHTS PER STAIR. That would be pretty pricey if you have more than one stair. However, this is an example of "you get what you pay for": they are most certainly high quality! I would expect a professional contractor to use something like 50 of these on a million-dollar home patio.[My picture doesn't do it justice for the darkness the stairs are in at night. I included the video for a better idea of the difference it makes.]

I absolutely love these solar step lights. The warm white glow makes my patio steps look elegant and inviting, and the focused beam is bright without being harsh. The aluminum housing feels sturdy, and they’ve already handled a couple of heavy rains without issue. Installation was simple, and I appreciate that they blend in during the day but completely transform the space at night. They add just the right touch of style and safety, perfect for evenings outside.

We live in the country and have a multi-level house with a large back deck off the second story. The stairs are long and steep and can be a bit dangerous if you’re not used to them at night, or just clumsy like me and don’t look where you walk. This two pack of solar lights is the solution I should have got years ago!The set comes with two solar lights approximately 12 inches wide and 2-3 inches high. They are built super tough so they hold up to all the elements including rain and dreaded snow. Setup is a breeze and you just remove the two adhesive backing strips and add the provided adhesive and press them into place. It honestly took me one minute per light.I placed these at the base of stairs spaced out to provide light for the entire set of stairs. The light is controlled automatically with a light sensor so no messy wires to worry about. They provide an excellent amount of light. No more tripping on the stairs for me!This set worked so well, we purchased another set for another side of our house. These are a fantastic deal for the price and I highly recommend them.

These are pretty neat!I have not used the remote control much.Mine are part of a brick walkway under a rose arbor and they light up the arbor at night in interesting ways.

These solar step lights are about a foot long. The pictures make them look bigger than they are because they combine two together. They seem to have a solid construction. Solar panel and lights look watertight. It comes with silicone and double sided tape to assist the silicone during the curing process. Make sure the steps have been cleaned first and allowed to dry for at least 24 hours before installation. Also make sure to remove the small magnet at the back prior to installation otherwise the solar battery won't charge. It is a good value at this price, but if the price was cheaper I would buy a lot more for installation around the spa.

Nice, bright lights. These were exactly what I was needing. My backyard is so dark at night, our stairs were dangerous. These direct the lighting downward so it's not abrasive in your face when going up, and provide the right lumen output to accomplish illuminating the stairs without taking away from my other landscape lighting. Nice and clean install. I'm very happy with them.

Heavy Duty & Solid, we were pleasantly surprised how nicely built these are. We set these outdoors to charge up and to be sure they would be bright enough for our needs before siliconing them down onto our concrete steps. They look actually look professional. I ordered more for our back patio.

Love it for our driveway, gives it a nice sleek look

I was expecting plastic, but no, these things are solid metal with heavy plastic tread design on the top. No joke, you can absolutely install these onto the edge of a pool, or stair tread, and have zero concerns about stepping on it or breaking it. I needed them as patio banister lights, and they were super easy to install with just a bit of double sided tape (included). Even with our patio facing north-east and getting less direct sun than most, they pop on every night at dusk and light the patio brightly until after midnight. Love the ease of installation, the modern low profile styling (also uplights my plants with the upper LEDs!) and the functionality. Just 2 are bright enough to light a summer dinner outside! Highly recommend.

I love these lights. I have a south facing balcony, and I put the lights on my balcony instead of having twinkling lights on the railing

Awesome lights for around the pool. Had to create a small contraption to install them on the edge of the above ground pool, but they work great and are very durable. Will be getting a few more to

This review is for the SHONELIGHTING Solar Deck Lights, Crazy 48 LEDs Super Bright, Car Weight Bearing Driveway Light, IP67 Waterproof for Outdoor Pool, Ground, Dock, Low Profile Anti-Trip, Slip for Step (Warm White, 8Pack)These are not your average deck lights. They are high quality and appear to be very durable. Functionality is amazing, as they are low profile and bright! Size is perfect for our deck over our pond. Very easy to install. When I received them, they were a little over $11 per light. This may seem pricey - it will all depend on the lifespan. They are very nice, and I am glad we purchased them.

I really love these lights. They are very versatile. I know a lot of people use these around a pool but I needed to light up some steps and I am so happy that they really complete my lighting design in my backyard. They get plenty of sun during the day but even if it's cloudy, they still collect enough energy to stay lit ALL NIGHT LONG!The adhesive that comes with it is perfect. After letting it dry for an hour, the light will not not move at all.Overall great product and great value!

These are very high-quality solar lights. I am using them on a brick wall on the porch, but I can see so many applications. I've only had them for less than a week, so I cannot testify to their longevity. They are solid feeling with a large solar area with only modest lighting, so I suspect that ratio will provide long life (solar panel area to light output). Two lights light the porch pathway very well. Pricey, but seems worth it at this point.

Easy, easy, easy…these lights were easy to unpack, easy to install and easy to light up the pathway where we installed them. They came with the screws needed to install to out wooden decking and also came with sticks to install in grass if that is where you want them. A quick touch of the on/off switch and they were ready to go. The perimeter is beveled so that if they are in a traffic area, they won’t trip anyone & wheels roll right over them. They look great and provide enough light (warm white) to light the area, but not overwhelmingly bright. They function great and cost About the same as others.
